A Gent is a 40x40 PNG or GIF enlarged to 160x160, stored as an ERC721 token on the Ethereum blockchain. They are the result of a symbiosis between generative and traditional art, working hand in hand. While the basic shape and skin tone for any Gent is generated algorithmically, every variation is unique and drawn by hand. This lends every Gent his or her own personality, individuality and charm, without sacrificing variety or diversity. In the spirit of equality and unity, every Gent is represented in all six skin tones.

Gents come with six attributes that describe their shape and appearance. The first three concern the type of his or her respective parts.

They also come in different sizes, with or without a (sometimes literal) hat. Some are animated as well, breathing even more life into them.
